Linux is my favorite kernel system I always use for experiment and fun. Systematically, I ran dozens of distro in years and been satisfied, somewhat annoyed. Over the years, windows has been ruling 80% of the operating system market but do you know people begins to explore the linux world as test basis because Oracle’s Virtual Box has made it sharp, A triggered way to pull out people to know about linux.

Before I start, let’s talk about Oracle’s virtual box. It’s a virtual computer machine that hosts many operating system just like you have microsoft’s windows in your laptop, notebook or desktop pc. But it have dependencies as you computer’s requirements. If you have minimum 4gb of ram, easily you can use any linux distro that weighs a lot to consume your memory. But for more like gaming linux distors, i recommend you hop in with total 8gb and a good GPU.

10. SteamOS: The best gaming distro ever you can use in a heavy configured computer. If you get at least 8gb ram in your desktop you can run easily from virtualbox as it requires 4gb. More than 4000 games contributed and so on, Steam is comparatively better distro than other linux.

09. PeppermintOS: The Must use distro. Their flavor really spread out till edition 18 has arrived. Based on ubuntu variant Lubuntu it’s a beautiful distro lightly need to use your computer memory.

08. Bodhilinux: a variant that comes from ubuntu, is a good enough to give your memory a rest. Bodhi linux is growing it community over years.

07. VectorLinux: i have used vector for once, still it’s in my VM. Fast, fluent, lightweight and great software package.

06. PhoneixOS: Based on android platform and latest linux kernel, Phoneix makes android x86 as desktop environment. Up to selecting 4-32gb space, you don’t need an ISO image file. It has a windows executing file(*.exe) format just install on your windows and reboot, select drop down manually and use phoenix as your home desktop. Nougat, marshmellow, lollipop is available on there.

05. Lubuntu OS: Lubuntu means a lot to me, it is a official ubuntu flavor as much as a lightweight for old computer. I use LTS version. But it’s getting mid-weight flavor.

04. SolusOS: Based on linux kernel, Solus is an independent distro that wons million’s heart. You can lead like a latest android in your phone. Their Graphics, Decorative design just broke out all the records of linux history.

03. PuppyLinux: As my third Choice, This USB Live CD is my all time favorite that just run from USB Live. No need to install, Just use unetbootin to stay at pendrive flash.

02. ZorinOS: Zorin Come from the core of ubuntu, releases with tons of packages in repositories along with Wine(windows executable) this debian based OS is now a strongest Operating system in the world now.

01. Linux Mint: Who ever doesn’t know linux, they also can heard of linux mint. From the home of ubuntu this distribution is Greatest venture of all time. They have all updates you need to use and it is one kind of choice i always favor mint.
